About This Seminar

The Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar is an educational training program designed to support professional development, caregiver education, and person-centered dementia care awareness for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and support staff.

This seminar also fulfills the educational seminar requirement for individuals pursuing Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP®) certification through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP®). Participants are responsible for independently reviewing and meeting all NCCDP® certification eligibility requirements.

The seminar focuses on communication strategies, caregiver understanding, quality of life support concepts, behavioral awareness, and compassionate approaches related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
